Today went very well, Peter Quinn the managing director of United Press Ltd in London came with his wife Carole who presented me with the award and cheque. Linda Greenwood The Central Library Lending Services Officer was also there and very helpful.

A photographer from the Telegraph and Star was there to take the photo's.

The presentation pictures will be in the paper either tomorrow or Wednesday.

My partner Sandy recorded the presentation with a camcorder so I will be able to put it onto a DVD at some point.

We went for a meal and a drink to celebrate afterwards.

What a wonderful day.
